Correct term for blood analysis?

JVH13
I have heard three different terms in my life so far, and was wondering which one is the "correct" or "most commonly used" by professionals today!

Is it:

Blood SPATTER Analysis?

Blood SPLATTER Analysis?

or

Blood Stain Analysis?

Hi

The correct term is Blood Spatter analysis. If you say splatter you will be laughed at in the field. My degree is Masters of Science in Criminal Justice:Forensic Investigations my specialty death investigations. Our crime scene professor was a forensic serology specialist at our local crime lab she would get mad if we used 'Splatter' Have a great day and stay safe.
