Forensic Photography

Posted by Christine Christine
I am currently going to a community college and am considering different career paths.

I am interested in becoming a forensic photographer and am not sure what kind of degree I need to pursue this.

What kind of degree do I need?
What do I need to major in?
What kind of classes do I need to take?

I am somewhat new to the whole college experience and really am not sure what I am doing, considering my parents never went to college and have not been able to advise me in what kind of direction I should go or where to even get the help.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Forensic Photography

Forensic Photographers are really hired by large agencies like Miami Dade, FBI, etc... Most agencies the photographer is the field or lab personnel.  They take photographs of their own work.  So alot of cases the CSI is a hybrid of many different jobs.  Jack of all trades but masters of a couple.
